Description

What do we mean when we talk about “earth care” and “people care”? What kind of caring do we engage in, and what principles guide us? How do we cultivate caring relationships? This workshop invites everybody to discuss how we perceive care, how we practice care in our everyday life, and how we include the perspective of care in our permaculture designs. Facilitated by literary scholar and permaculture hobbyist Kaisa Kortekallio, the workshop also discusses literature that might be nourishing for thinking about earth care and people care, including Robin Wall Kimmerer’s “Braiding Sweetgrass” and David Abram’s “Becoming Animal”. Do share your own sources of inspiration!
